04 Nov Snorkeling Report from Islamorada for November 2015
Guess who? It’s Capt Chris knocking on your door from the Happy Cat snorkel boat with your November snorkeling report. Wow! October handed us a little bit of everything, from windy days and not so great visibility to a throwback of those awesome summer days with flat calm seas, great visibility, and let’s not forget those fabulous sunsets. We stayed pretty busy and did our best to get everyone out there in spite of some unfavorable conditions here and there. The weather should start cooling off a bit and we are hopeful those nuisance moon jelly fish will start heading out of here as well as those pesky skeeters. We should be kicking off our Island Heritage Tours soon which take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with trips to Indian Key and Lignumvitae Key. Now that the days are getting much shorter, the sunset trips will not be available, however join us for some snorkeling on Alligator Reef and Cheeca Rocks, there’s plenty to see and all of your equipment is included. The Happy Cat departs at 8:45 am, noon and 3 pm for the snorkel trips. Give the ticket booth a call to reserve and always confirm scheduling and weather conditions as Mother Nature doesn’t like to spoil us all the time. Well everyone, that about does it for me… Until next month. Come on down to Robbie’s Marina. Cause we’ve got it going on!
