05 Oct Islamorada Snorkeling Report for October 2015
Hey folks, this is Capt Chris invading your inbox from the Happy Cat snorkel boat! September gave us plenty of hot days and some decent snorkeling weather with great visibility and plenty to see on the reefs. We have been seeing a ton of turtles and pods of dolphin all within very close range and that’s always a great experience for everyone!
As we dive into October, we still have our sunset trips on the books so before those days start getting real short, book a nice sunset cruise and enjoy the view with complimentary champagne. As the weather cools down we will start offering our Island heritage tours on Friday, Saturday and Sundays which involves guided tours of both Indian Key and Lignumvitae Key State parks. If snorkeling is in your near future, give the ticket booth a call and get signed up for one of our trips. The Happy Cat departs at 8:45 am, noon and 3 pm daily.
Please don’t forget to check weather conditions with the booth on the day of your snorkel trip as the weather sometimes doesn’t cooperate but we always do our best to get you out there and have an awesome time! Well that will about do it for this month, so come on down, get in, get wet and fins up!
