At Robbie’s of Islamorada
Welcome to the Islamorada Sportfishing Festival. We are
proud to announce the resurrection of this once-popular event held
more than 25 years ago.
The purpose
of creating the Islamorada Sportfishing Festival is show case the
“Sportfishing Capital of the World." This destination-based
event is encouraging tourist to stop and go no further than Islamorada.
September is a slow time, and what better to do than have a festival
packed with fishing seminars, techniques, vendors, artist, various
non profit groups, a fishing tournament, games, food, a live auction
and more fun?
We will be inducting
the first inductees into the Islamorada Sportfishing Hall of Fame,
later to be showcased at Islamorada Outfitters.
While this summer is judged to have Floridians traveling
6 hours or closer to spend leisure time, this festival is a winner
to fill rooms, dine in restaurants, shop and visit Islamorada.
ESPN Outdoors
will be filming, live steaming video available through www.ESPNOutdoors.com.
A link to the ISFF website will be available through ESPN Outdoors
website.
We are inviting Vendors, Artist and Non Profit Groups
related to the sportfishing industry to participate during the festival
weekend. Lets show case why Islamorada is the “Sportfishing
Capital of the World”!
